CUSTOM CONTROL SYSTEMS AND SWITCHGEAR

Caterpillar offers a complete solution for the control and monitoring of generators and associated switchgear in applications where complex control philosophies are employed. When purchased as a complete generator set package, Caterpillar engineers can fully integrate the generator controllers, switchboard, and PLC into one seamless modular design. You can even witness test the complete integrated package in the factory.

CUSTOM VOLTAGE GENERATORS

Ancillary Equipment

Our ancillary products are designed specifically to work with your Cat generator set. Our systems engineers will size and select everything you need based on your project and site operating conditions. 

• Air start systems including compressors, accumulators, and motors
• Remote cooling groups for C175/3600 generator sets
• Exhaust gas aftertreatment units (catalytic convertors, particulate filters)
• Heavy duty air inlet filter systems
• Fuel filtration systems including fuel/water separators, duplex/triplex fuel filtration, fuel polishing
• Special exhaust silencer systems to meet specific dBA noise reduction standards

Cooling Equipment

We can design a generator set cooling system to operate from -40°C to +55°C, using a variety of additional options designed specifically for the conditions. The range includes:

• Remote engine cooling
• Heat exchanger
• Combined heat and power (CHP)
• Low noise cooling group
• Custom radiator – engine or electrically driven

In addition to our range of baseframe-mounted engine-driven radiators, we also offer a comprehensive range of integrated baseframe-mounted heat exchanger packages, which can be used in conjunction with a choice of secondary cooling systems.
