NEW ENGINE ESC
New ESCs can be purchased if the standard warranty still covers your engine.
2 Coverage Levels
Platinum, Platinum Plus
- Covers parts and labor for covered component failure and resultant damage
- Coverage is available for 24 to 60 months
- $0 deductible option; no transfer fees
- Must be purchased before the factory warranty expires
- Can include travel, mileage, emergency freight, and overtime allowances
ADVANTAGE ESC
If your standard engine warranty has expired, there are still options to protect your investment.

- Coverage is available for 12 to 60 months
- $0 deductible options; no transfer fees
- Must pass Advantage inspection from an authorized Cat Dealer
- Can include travel, mileage, emergency freight, and overtime allowances
OVERHAUL ESC
Giving your engine a second life with an overhaul is a great way to further your investment. An authorized Cat dealer can add Overhaul ESCs.
- Covers parts and labor costs for covered component repairs due to defects in materials, factory and dealer workmanship, and damage caused by failure
- Coverage is available for 12 to 60 months
- An overhaul ESC checklist must be completed
- Can include travel, mileage, emergency freight, and overtime allowances
COMPONENT ESC FOR COMMERCIAL MARINE APPLICATIONS
Customize your protection to best fit your needs. This flexible option lets you select coverage for an Overhaul Foundational Kit and/or one or more of the major qualified components. Overhaul Foundational Kit ESC is available for 3406, 3408, 3412, and C18 engines. Component ESC is available for 3406, 3408, 3412, C18, 3508, 3512, and 3516 engines.
- Perform the overhaul yourself or have the work done by a Cat dealer
- Coverage is available for 24 or 36 months and up to 12,000 hours
- $0 deductible is the standard option
- Can be sold in-shop or over the counter at an authorized Marine Dealer
- Up to 120 days to register coverage after component purchase
