This location-only tracker device is an aftermarket option with simplified installation to track and recover powered and non-powered assets, both for retail and rental applications. It provides location updates every 6 or 24 hours depending on user preference and supports ping-on demand where available.

Cat^® Product Link^TM PL243

Suitable for construction equipment, heavy-duty equipment, and especially for small and mid-sized powered assets, the PL243 monitors hours and location of powered assets and can remotely disable as needed. Thanks to an internal backup battery included, the PL243 can keep reporting even when the machine is switched off up to one week.

Cat^® Product Link^TM Pro Overview

The Product Link^TM Pro devices have deep interaction with your machine’s ECM. In addition to hours and location, these devices get data on health with Diagnostic Trouble Codes as well as information on equipment performance and efficiency. Pro devices can capture fuel burn and fuel level in the tank, running vs. idling time, or even payload information (requires payload measurement on the machine). Pro devices are available with cellular (PL542, PL641) or satellite (PL631) radios.

The PL542 is specifically designed for ease of installation as an aftermarket device on machines with datalinks. The PL542 gathers hours, location, fuel, fault codes and much more. Eligible for Flash-Over-The-Air (FOTA) capabilities.

Designed especially for heavy-duty and construction equipment, the PL631 is a satellite-only device that gathers hours, location, fuel and much more. For other ways of connecting assets that best suit your needs with the same feature sets, discover the PL641 (4G) and the PLE683 (4G and Sat).

Elite Product Link^TM devices deliver the highest level of Connectivity that Caterpillar can offer. In addition to Pro capabilities, Product Link^TM Elite offer more features such as Remote Services and on-board analytics for condition monitoring.

Cat^® Product Link^TM PLE601

Combined with a PL641 or PL631, the Network Manager PLE601 offers the same features as a Pro, but with many more capabilities such as utilization and productivity data, diagnostic codes, real-time alerts, 8 dual state switched inputs, and analog input for auxiliary monitoring. Get the most information out of your assets with the PLE601.

Cat^® Product Link^TM PLE602/702

Use the PL083, PL243, PL641, or PL631 with either Network Managers to pull the most data from your asset. This Elite device has the same features as a Pro, but with many more capabilities such as utilization and productivity data, diagnostic codes, real-time alerts, 8 dual state switched inputs, and analog inputs for auxiliary monitoring*. Gather crucial information from your device to your fingertips with the PLE602 and PLE702.
