Why Physical Damage Insurance?

✓ Guaranteed Asset Protection: We pay up to policy limits the greater of the loan payoff value (less late payments and fees), actual cash value or fair market value.

✓ Rental Coverage: up to $500 per day, up to $10,000 per occurrence and $100,000 coverage for rented replacement equipment.

Send an email to the PhysicalDamage@cat.com inbox with the name of the insured (customer) and current policy number in the subject line. Please include the year, make, model, serial number, value and loss payee if they have a loan on the machine in the body of the email.

Turnaround time for a response should be within 24 hours. Please note that additional equipment cannot be added to a multi-year policy unless it is within 12 months of the policy expiration date.

Send an email to the PhysicalDamage@cat.com inbox with the name of the insured (customer) and current policy number in the subject line and the information for the change to the policy in the body of the email.

Please note that if you also need to change information on your Cat Financial contract, you will need to notify Cat Financial directly.
