The Cat® Seat Belt Reminder uses audible and visual alerts to ensure operators stay buckled while operating equipment. It's easy to install and compatible with all equipment brands, effective for a single machine or an entire fleet.

WHAT IT DOES

The Seat Belt Reminder utilizes in-cab alerts that notify the operator to buckle up.
The Seat Belt Reminder connects to VisionLink™, a subscription-based telematics software that delivers customizable dashboards with real-time updates on the condition of your equipment.
VisionLink™ notifies supervisors and creates a log of the instances when a seat belt is not fastened while the machine is in motion to maintain safety records.

HOW IT WORKS

The Seat Belt Reminder detects when the seat belt should be in use by monitoring the machine’s parking brake switch.
In order to operate the machine, the operator must turn off the parking brake.
If the seat belt is not buckled when the parking brake is disengaged, the Seat Belt Reminder alarm will sound (audible alert) and a continuous light will be visible in the buckle (visual alert).
An optional, external green beacon provides a visual alert for those on site to easily monitor potentially unsafe situations. When the machine is in motion and no seat belt is detected, the beacon will illuminate.
With equipment telematics, it’s easy to keep track of how often the Cat Seat Belt Reminder is activated. Operator alert data is sent to the back office via VisionLink™, your online user interface. That way, you can keep track of how often seat belt violations occur and identify opportunities for operator training.
