Mark Bainbridge is an Executive Vice President of Cat Financial Services Corporation with administrative responsibility for North America Sales & Operations and Global Marketing.
Mark most recently served as Vice President with administrative responsibility for Cat Power Finance, Latin America and North America Operations. He began his career with Cat Financial in the legal department in 1998, where he joined as a lawyer providing global and domestic litigation support. In 2001, Mark moved to the business side and has held several management positions, initially serving as Managing Director of the European Support Group and Marine Region Manager of EAME Region based in Hockley Heath, United Kingdom. In 2004, Mark moved to Nashville to serve as U.S. Southern Region Manager with responsibility for field operations in the Jacksonville, Nashville, and Dallas Districts. In 2008, Mark served as the project manager for the U.S. Field Alignment Project, which combined the Forke Credit Company and Cat Financial field forces. Later in 2008, Mark moved to Beijing and served as Managing Director of Caterpillar (China) Financial Leasing Co., Ltd with responsibility for Cat Financial’s operations in China. In 2011, Mark was named Vice President and led operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME) and Cat Power Finance.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Juris Doctorate, both from Indiana University. Prior to joining Caterpillar, Mark was a lawyer in private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. He currently serves on the board for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE).
