Mark Bainbridge is a Vice President of Cat Financial Services Corporation with administrative responsibility for Cat Power Finance, Latin America & Americas Operations.
Mark most recently served as Vice President with administrative responsibility for operations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME) and Cat Power Finance. He began his career with Cat Financial in the legal department in 1998 where he joined as a lawyer providing global and domestic litigation support to CFSC. In 2001, Mark moved to the business side and has held several management positions within Cat Financial, initially serving as Managing Director of the European Support Group and Marine Region Manager of EAME Region based in Hockley Heath, United Kingdom. In 2004, Mark moved to Nashville to serve as US Southern Region Manager with responsibility for field operations in the Jacksonville, Nashville, and Dallas Districts. In 2008, Mark served as the project manager for the US Field Alignment Project, which combined the Forke Credit Company and Cat Financial field forces. Later in 2008, Mark moved to Beijing and has served as Managing Director of Caterpillar (China) Financial Leasing Co., Ltd with responsibility for Cat Financial’s operations in China until accepting his current position.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Juris Doctorate, both from Indiana University. Prior to joining Caterpillar, Mark was a lawyer in private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana.
