General Duty - Steel Track

General Duty track is built to different specifications than Heavy Duty, we design it so General Duty and Heavy Duty components are interchangeable. That eliminates any need for retrofitting and keeps your machine downtime to a minimum.

Additionally, Cat Heavy Duty shoes can be installed on General Duty link assemblies, making them more flexible to meet your needs. (Not available for 300.9 - 310 models)

Heavy Duty - Steel Track

Heavy Duty Undercarriage is built for maximum durability in tough conditions. Pin design reduces end play movement and and tightly controls seal motion for long interval pin/bushing wear life, providing industry leading performance.

Heavy Duty Extended Life with Duralink™ (HDXL) - Steel Track

Proven Cat Heavy Duty design with the addition of stronger Duralink and Positive Pin Retention 2 (PPR2) can tackle the most rigorous terrain and extreme applications without fear of breakage. Performs best in high-impact and high travel applications. (Available only on 315 and 317 models)

General Duty - Rubber Track

Ideal for machines with lower hour utilization, older vintage machines, or where initial purchase price is a key factor in the purchasing decision. (Available only on certain mini excavator models 300.9 - 310)

Heavy Duty - Rubber Track

Ideal for machines working in production-style applications where high hour accumulation is expected. Cat Heavy Duty tracks are built to handle the toughest applications. (Available only on mini excavator models 300.9 - 310)

Steel Tracks with Rubber Pads

Steel tracks provide the versatility of rubber track belts while allowing the debris to self-clear from the link assembly which reduces the overall wear on the sprocket and bushings. The rubber pads reduce machine vibration, leading to a smoother ride, less terrain damage, and improved operator comfort compared to traditional steel grouser shoes. Finally, steel tracks allow the customer to replace the individual rubber pads, if necessary, versus replacing an entire rubber track belt. (Available only on select mini excavator models)
